Man charged over attack on Toowoomba mosque

TOOWOOMBA detectives investigating the alleged wilful damage of a mosque in Toowoomba have charged a man.

Police will allege that on May 16 about 5pm graffiti was sprayed on the outside of the building.

A 26-year-old Victorian man has been charged with one count of wilful damage and is due to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Detectives continue to investigate two suspicious fires which occurred at the premises on January 23 and April 17 and encourage anyone with information to contact Crimestoppers.
