Man charged for trafficking date rape drug at Cooly Airport

RABEE Karanouh, 36, will appear in Southport Court on October 18 after was arrested at Gold Coast Airport with four litres of the date rape drug GBH.

Queensland Police say Mr Karanouh was arrested at Gold Coast Airport after an incoming flight and was charged with one count each of trafficking, possessing a dangerous drug, and flying in an assumed name.

The arrest was the result of an ongoing investigation by Queensland Police and an unnamed agency.
