Man allegedly stole firearms, ammunition, farm machinery
POLICE from the Richmond Target Action Group have made an arrest in relation to a theft and firearms offences.
Police said a farm in Tunglebung, near Mallanganee, was broken to two weeks ago, resulting in the theft of two firearms, 4,500 rounds of ammunition and about $26,000 worth of farm machinery.
As a result of some intensive investigation police identified a suspect.
A 57-year-old man from the Pinnacles was arrested in Alstonville on Saturday August 6.
He has been charged with Break Enter and Steal, Steal Firearm and Drive Whilst Disqualified.
He will appear in Casino Local Court in September.
