MAFS star debuts unusual tattoo
Heavily tattooed MAFS star Elizabeth Sobinoff has shared her latest ink with followers, and she barely has any space left on her lower back.
Unveiling her latest sprawling addition on Instagram on Wednesday, the star posed in a pair of unbuttoned jeans, pulling up her shirt and moving her body so fans could see the artwork in full.
The latest design, in keeping with the gothic-fairytale style of the rest of her ink, is a stack of books with a spider crawling over them.
Crediting tattooist @montygtatoos, the star captioned the photo "omg I love you".
Liz later explained that her tattoos are inspired by her love of books - particularly children's literature.
She also has images of a number of animals over her body, which she says are all inked in the style of children's illustrations.
"When I was a young girl, I used to love going to the library and flicking though the children's books and seeing the illustrations," she said.
Name-checking Possum Magic by Mem Fox as her favourite childhood story, she said each of her tattoos were either designed in a style based on the book or British TV show The Animals of Farthing Wood.
The 28-year-old said she got her first tattoo - a black cat - in 2018.
Since then, she has added to the growing collection: a raccoon on her buttocks, and a squirrel, fox, rabbit and tiger's head in the centre of her back.
Explaining the choices to her fans, she added that each different animal "has a specific spiritual meaning", and while she is somewhat hooked to the process, she said she plans to keep her legs below the knee, arms and upper back clear.
Liz will appear as an intruder bride on the forthcoming season of Married At First Sight, after her "marriage" with Sam Ball resulted in a cheating scandal with controversial contestant Ines Basic.
