MAFS rocked by intimate video scandal
After one of the most explosive episodes of Married At First Sight yet, viewers have been left wanting answers after several damning allegations were hurled across the dinner party table - and claims of an intimate video have added fuel to the fire.
Wednesday night's episode of the Channel 9 dating show saw Aleks accused of cheating with a 50-year-old mystery Serbian man, while Ivan denied using Michael and Josh as pawns in plotting his wife's take-down to resurrect himself as her knight in shining armour.
The couple also vigorously denied they'd ever had sex, despite Josh saying Ivan had earlier claimed they were, "rooting like rabbits".
MAFS contestant Mishel Karen, who is married to Steve in the experiment, discussed the scandal on news.com.au's Not Here To Make Friendspodcast last night.
She cast doubt on Aleks' claim that she never slept with Ivan, saying some contestants had seen a "provocative" video of Aleks which suggested otherwise.
"All I know, and I heard it through Josh, and Josh and I and Stacey and I are close, that Ivan did show the video to other people, a video of Aleks being provocative," Mishel said.
"I think that's not cool to show that to them, but that's hearsay, so I'm not sure if that's true, but I actually believe Stacey and Josh."
"I wouldn't doubt them. There's no reason for them to lie," she added.
Both Aleks and Ivan have since denied the claims a video was shared.
On the podcast, Mishel also backed Michael and said he was telling the truth at the dinner party despite Aleks calling him a liar.

"Michael likes to stir the pot, but he usually stirs the pot honestly," Mishel said.
"So he's heard something, he's just relaying it to the rest of the group. The boys are actually very close, they're always sharing information and whether Ivan was to admit it or not, he did disclose that information with Josh and Michael.
"I feel bad for Josh and Michael tonight, they were stitched up. Ivan asked them to ask about that. It was 100 per cent, he asked them to."
It all kicked off when Aleks told everyone at the dinner party she no longer felt chemistry with Ivan, despite their relationship appearing solid until the last couple of episodes.
Taking on the role of the moral police, Michael chimed in and told her, "What a load of nonsense, I've never heard so much crap in my life".
What followed was a he-said, she-said, denial littered argument about whether or not Ivan and Aleks had ever had sex.
Aleks and Ivan were asked about the "provocative" video on Kyle and Jackie O's KIIS FM breakfast show this morning and both said it was "absolutely news to us".
"So there's no way Channel 9 could have hidden some cameras and caught you guys having sex?" Kyle asked Ivan.
"I'll be busting a few heads if they have," Ivan replied. "But I don't think so, no."
Jackie O suggested that Ivan's answer confirmed that he and Aleks had in fact had sex, to which the MAFS contestant replied: "There's no admissions here".
After saying in the episode they never got down and dirty, Aleks left the room which is when Michael revealed to the group he ran into Aleks in the lobby of their hotel after a hot date she'd had with a man she reportedly met at a Serbian event, which she attended with Mishel.
Mishel lifted the lid on what happened that night, saying her and Aleks went to party hotspot Coogee Pavilion in Sydney and ran into Ivan.
Mishel said Aleks was surrounded by men.
"There were lots of guys, she (Aleks) was quite hot and young, so they're all clambering around her, there was a guy that had a Ferrari," she said.
"It was a little bit unfortunate, we rocked up to Coogee Pavilion and he (Ivan) is there.
"I think Aleks knew he was there, and Ivan thought we'd hang out with him but we'd met all these new friends, we were hanging out with new guys and a girl and having drinks, they were showing us a lot of attention.
"It was terrible … Poor Ivan. It was quite heartbreaking, he did come up to me and say, 'Look Mishel, this isn't right'.
"It was hard for me because I'm trying to support my girl. I was trying to think where my moral compass was."
During the episode, Aleks told everyone she never went on a date, and that she'd been out with a girlfriend and the owner of the restaurant, a man, was also in attendance.
"That wasn't a romantic date with a man, I was with a woman and a man who is around 50 years old, same age as my dad," Aleks told everyone.
"That's not what you told me when you came back to the lobby," Michael chimed in.
Ivan begged everyone to stop talking about it, which angered Josh and Michael who then dropped the bombshell that Ivan had actually asked them to bring up his sex life at the dinner party, presumably so he could come to his wife's defence and fix his disastrous marriage.
"We were rang by Ivan," Josh said in a piece-to-camera. "He (Ivan) said: 'This chick has done a 180, she's friendzoned me, she said there's no passion when in reality we've been rooting like rabbits for weeks.'"
