Someone has won $1 million, but no-one has claimed it
A MAN who bought a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot ticket at Mullumbimby has picked up a cool $100,000 prize.
The winner, who has chosen to remain anonymous, said he still hadn't come down to earth since his big win on Tuesday.
"This has already been a magical year for me and it's just gotten even better," he said.
"I said at the beginning of the year that things are going to happen for me this year and now I've won $100,000.
"I couldn't believe it when I checked my Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot ticket at home on my laptop.
"I called out to my partner to come and look at my ticket and when she saw that I'd won $100,000 she started running around the room with excitement."
"I'm going to invest my $100,000 windfall and I'm planning to take a well-deserved holiday down the track.
The ticket was purchased at Mullumbimby Newsagency, 44 Burringbar St, Mullumbimby.
Meanwhile, a $1 million dollar lotto prize won in last Monday night's lottery draw remains unclaimed, after the mystery winner failed to come forward
NSW Lotteries spokeswoman Belinda McDougall said the division one winning $1 million ticket was purchased in Tweed Heads South but wasn't registered on a NSW Lotteries Players Club card.
She said NSW Lotteries were desperate to unite the winner with their prize and was calling on all those who may have purchased a ticket to head in-store and have it checked to be sure.
"We still haven't had anyone present to NSW lotteries with the winning ticket from the Tweed City News outlet," Ms McDougall said.
"We're eager to hear from our newest millionaire, so anyone who purchased an unregistered Monday Lotto Ticket in Tweed Heads South should check it immediately because they could be a new millionaire."
The winning numbers in draw 3566 were 24, 45, 29, 14, 39 and 35, with supplementary numbers 30 and 16.
