Lost truckie gets the book thrown at him
A TRUCK driver will appear in court next month after getting lost in the western Sydney suburb of St Marys.
The B-double was intercepted by Police and RMS compliance inspectors yesterday morning.
Police say the driver "became lost" and drove the entire length of Queen St in the St Marys CBD before stopping outside the St Marys railway station in the bus interchange.
The driver will now be reported for a significant number of heavy vehicle offences including being off route, incomplete work diary (police allege 30 plus offences), fatigue and defective vehicle offences.
He will appear in Penrith Local Court next month.
