Lee Kernaghan’s bringing Beautiful Noise to Twin Towns

PLAYING at Twin Town Services Club was a dream that came true for country musician Lee Kernaghan..

"When I left school I wasn't qualified to do much," he said.

"I worked at Greenmount Resort where big stars that came to perform at Twin Towns would stay.

"I had no idea I'd be headlining shows at Twin Towns."

Kernaghan said he was used to performing to a crowd of 20 people at the pub and when his career exploded he was blown away with the massive crowds Twin Towns drew.

Next month Kernaghan's Beautiful Noise tour has two shows that look like they're going sell out.

"It's fantastic," he said.

"It's all been kind of overwhelming."

A lot of artists perform for very different reasons and the country music super star said his favourite part was when the crowd sings a long to a song.

"It's amazing that my songs have had an impact on people's lives," he said.

"I aim to take them on a journey and stay with them.

"You're only as good as the songs you write."

Twenty years after the release of his first album, The Outback Club, Kernaghan is back stronger than ever with his new release Beautiful Noise.

To coincide with the release of the Beautiful Noise album he announced his Beautiful Noise Australian Tour.

On March 2 the tour will kick off at the Dowerin Rodeo in Western Australia and run for 18-months across the length and breadth of Australia.

His electrifying stage show is a trademark that has enthralled audiences and has ensured sell out concerts all over Australia.

South East Queensland is now Kernaghan's stopping ground and he's been living on the Gold Coast since 1999.

Kernaghan will perform at Twin Town on April 26 and 27.

Adult tickets start from $49.90 and kids $24.95 to purchase contact 1800 014 014.
