SOCCEROOS coach Ange Postecoglou will have to do without rising stars Tomi Juric and Tom Rogic when his team takes on Bangladesh in Dhaka tomorrow night.

Both will miss the Asian World Cup qualifier after sustaining injuries in the Socceroos' 3-0 win over Kyrgyzstan on Thursday night in Canberra.

Juric (pictured), now with Dutch club Roda, was replaced in the side after suffering a groin injury, while Celtic midfielder Rogic suffered quad soreness the morning after the match.

Postecoglou will not replace the pair in the squad against Bangladesh, with both allowed to return to their clubs.

Nathan Burns, who replaced Juric against Kyrgyzstan was also subbed out of that game with a corked leg, but said he would be fit to take on Bangladesh, which is on the bottom of Group B.

Meanwhile, Socceroos midfielder Massimo Luongo is enjoying his burgeoning partnership with Aaron Mooy.

Both were influential in the win over Kyrgyzstan and with skipper Mile Jedinak and Mark Milligan providing a solid base behind them, Luongo said he and the Melbourne City product were building a good rapport.

"It's a good (relationship). I think we're both clever enough to adapt to the way each other plays," Luongo said.

"We're not afraid to give the ball up to each other. I know if I pass it to him I'm a good chance to get it back or I'm in a good position to get it from someone else.

"Millsy (Milligan) was in there as well. It sort of compliments us as well to have him and Mile getting about the pitch."
