Jeffrey comes down to Earth at last
US ASTRONAUT Jeffrey Williams wore traditional Kazakh national attire at a media conference in Karaganda, Kazakhstan on Wednesday.
Earlier that day he and two Russian cosmonauts, Alexei Ovchinin and Oleg Skripochka, returned to Earth, landing safely in a Soyuz TMA-19M capsule 150km east of the city of Dzhezkazgan in Kazakhstan after spending 172 days in space aboard the International Space Station. Williams is now the US record holder for time in orbit, spending 534 days in space over four missions.
