Israeli musician in Mullumbimby

ISRAELI singer-songwriter and musician Idan Raichel will be performing in the Byron Shire next year.

The artist is known for his Idan Raichel Project, which is distinctive for its fusion of electronics, traditional Hebrew texts, Arab and Ethiopian music.

Middle Eastern influences mixed with Latin American and African-inspired sounds will offer exotic soundscapes to audiences.

The show will be a piano concert together with six guest musicians from Tel Aviv.

Over the past 13 years, Idan has collaborated with American pop stars including India Arie, Dave Matthews and Alicia Keys.

The show is set to celebrate Idan's amazing career and musical journey over the past 12 years.

The intimate concert will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at the Civic Memorial Hall, 55 Dalley Street, Mullumbimby.

Tickets cost $25 and can be purchased at oneentertainment.com.au
