Psychic says she hears voices warning of accidents

IT was a voice that saved Kerilyn's life.

It warned her that her car was going to crash into a guide post, preparing Kerilyn for what was about to happen.

That, she says, was her guardian angel.

"He's been with me my whole life," Kerilyn said.

"He saved my life, I've had two accidents since (but) I get warnings, like premonitions."

Kerilyn knew she was different as a kid, when she started having nightmares and an invisible friend that's never left her side.

"I see what will happen to other people," Kerilyn said during a visit to Rockhampton last week.

The international psychic is well known in Rockhampton.

She said she had a good client base in the region and comes to the city every few months, in between travels to New Zealand, Los Angeles and throughout Australia.

She has been psychic for 28 years and uses her ability to help others struggling at a crossroads in life, or dealing with a personal issue or grief.

"I just don't go up and say this is going to happen, I approach it in a healing way, it's about supporting people," the 54-year-old said.

"I work in the grief process, and work with people who have had sexual assaults and young girls with eating disorders; I guess I work differently from your normal classified psychic.

"A lot of people come to me and say is there another place to go to, and I certainly say there is.

Kerilyn isn't alone in her gift, with her mother being able to see what will happen to other people.

"My mother said that this would happen to me and she wanted me to be ok with it," Kerilyn said.

"I used to gift it to people for many years but became obvious that I was in need and decided I'd get on the road and doing it for a regular business."

"People shouldn't be fearful of it, it's not evil, I work in absolute love I believe there's a higher power and don't fear the things you can't see, it's like the wind and the sunshine hitting your skin," Kerilyn said.
