Hurricanes outclass sharks

THE Hurricanes won their fourth Super Rugby match of the season when they outclassed the Sharks 42-18 in New Plymouth.

The victory for the Hurricanes comes a week after their shock loss to the Cheetahs last weekend in Wellington.

The Hurricanes outscored the Sharks by six tries to two with three tries in the first half and three in the second half.

The result takes the Durban-based Sharks to a record of played seven and lost four matches so far this season.

The Hurricanes had to overcome chronic shortages of territory and possession in the match as they had only 37 percent of possession in the first half and spent 56 percent of the spell pressed inside their own half but broke out with three tries to take a dominant 25-3 lead to halftime.
