Noon on Wednesday: POLICE pursue a vehicle through Rockhampton.
Reports indicate the man shot at police in Fitzroy St earlier. The vehicle is on the wrong side of the road, going towards Yeppen roundabout at 120kmh and overtaking cars.
12.05pm: VEHICLE heads towards Bouldercombe, in excess of 150kmh. It's believed the driver has a firearm and 50 rounds of ammunition.
12.20pm: IT'S believed the vehicle is in the Mt Morgan area, heading back towards Bouldercombe, reportedly sideswiping a vehicle during the chase, with two people in shock.
12.30pm: POLICE believe they have the armed man boxed in near the Clarence St, Mt Morgan area.
Reports indicate the driver has a firearm with a scope and laser, 50 rounds of ammunition and handgun.
12.40pm: POLICE shut down Razorback Rd as one crew reports they may have found the target vehicle parked there.
1.35pm: A NEGOTIATOR is called into a possible siege situation between Bouldercombe and Mount Morgan.
Police identify a silver Prado parked at the side of a house they believe the armed offender was driving.
Police set up command center at Razorback Rd.
3.10pm: ROCKHAMPTON Regional Council maintenance crews abandon roadworks in the Mt Morgan area due to the manhunt.
As a result, a 10m long gravel patch remains unrepaired and motorists are advised to adhere to warning signs.
3.20pm: FIREFIGHTERS on standby at a blockage as the armed offender has a scope on a rifle and deemed dangerous.
A fire burns in the vicinity of the blockade for a number of hours.
The fire is believed to be threatening a home.
3.30pm: A NINE-MONTH pregnant woman is evacuated.
3.45pm: FIREFIGHTERS move to battle a possible house fire on the corner of Burnett Hwy and Leydens Hill Rd.
The firefighters are guaranteed protection of the QPS from the armed gunman.
3.55pm: A CARAVAN with gas cylinders is on fire, fully involved, at the location of the siege situation.
Reports indicate there is also a 4WD on fire on the corner of Leydens Hill Rd and the Burnett Hwy.
4.10pm: TWO houses evacuated as police move residents from siege area.
Reports indicate the fire that has engulfed a caravan, a 4WD and a house has jumped the road near Struck Oil Rd as police continue the hunt for the armed man.
5.20pm: AT LEAST two caravans and three cars reportedly lost to a bushfire in a siege zone.
Minor structural damage to one house, a boat has received minor damage, according to one report.
6.08pm: PUBLIC Safety Preservation Act declared includes an area between the Burnett Hwy, Razorback Rd and Poison Creek Rd.
Firefighters complete a back burn along the western side of the bushfire.
All homes in the Leydens Hill Rd/ Burnett Hwy and Struck Oil Rd area have reportedly been evacuated.
An evacuation centre is set up at the Bouldercombe State School.
7pm: About 30 police cordon off area involving 6ha of bushland. Will remain until resolved.
3.25am: Police call off cordoned off area, continue to hunt for gunman.
All roads in the area have now reopened.
