A GROUP of young Sunshine Coast dancers are putting their noses to the grindstone as they prepare to take on the world.
Hip hop crew Expialidopest is busy putting the final touches on its routine as members prepare to jet off to Las Vegas for the World Hip Hop Dance Championships.
The group, which practises out of Sole Studios at Nambour, earned the right to represent Australia when it won the qualifiers in Brisbane last month.
And while the dancers have booked a berth, they still need some help to get on the plane.
The group - all of whom are aged between seven and 12 - is on a fundraising mission and has set up a site on crowd-sourcing web page Pozible.
Sole Studios business manager Amanda Wescombe said the group had shown exceptional commitment to get its routine in order.
"They're working very hard to pull it off," she said.
"They're all 7 to 12 and a very dedicated and focused group of young people."
