Entrepreneurial teen will make $100,000 by Christmas

HIGHFIELDS teenager Will Deeth is on track to make $100,000 by Christmas.

The 15-year-old got an early start into the importing trade, with his parents who run I Will Import, previously known as China Purchasing Consultants.

The family loves buying direct from factories and wholesalers in China and helping others do it too.

The young entrepreneur stepped into the world of importing last year with a trip to China where he learnt from the best.

Last Christmas, he sold toys at a pop-up shop and made $10,000 in just a week.

This Christmas, Will has set up another pop-up shop at Grand Central but this time is expected to make $80,000 to 100,000.

Will travelled back to China in September to reinvest his money and expand his business further. This time he took some clients from I Will Import to show them exactly what he did.

He financed his purchase with his unspent profits from last year and with a little help from his parents.

Further research was required to test Will's products in China; he then imported them back to Australia and shared half of a 40-foot container with his clients.

Will is on track with his long-term goal to save up enough money to buy his first house before he is 18.

He will run his pop-up shop up until Christmas but has also taken his business online at willbefun.com.au.

Will and his parents are expanding their business further to teach people how they do it by running a three-day workshop next month on the Gold Coast with mother Lisa Deeth.
