Public assistance is sought to help locate a very young child who is believed to have recently been taken by her father in Logan.

Aubree Leigh Best is only 18-months old and her mother, Ashleigh Gibson, is desperate to have her returned.

She is believed to be with her father, Jordan Leigh Best (33). He has dark brown hair, brown eyes and fair complexion. He is approximately 175 cm tall and is slightly built.

The location of Jordan and Aubree is unknown but they may be in the area of Logan although Jordan does have family interstate, in South Australia.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Aubree or Jordan Best are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

All police across Australian are searching for the girl, including the Australian Federal Police and state and territory police.
