Hannant hoping to start for Broncos against Wests Tigers
BRISBANE Broncos prop Ben Hannant trained strongly yesterday in his bid to take the field against the Wests Tigers at Suncorp Stadium on Monday night.
It will be his last chance for the nine-time Origin player to be called back into the Queensland camp for game two in Brisbane on June 26.
Hannant, out of action since round 10 due to a calf injury, has been a key figure in Queensland's seven-series Origin domination, and the Maroons struggled without him and retired prop Petero Civoniceva in New South Wales's 14-6 game one victory in Sydney.
Josh Hoffman (ankle) and Alex Glenn (hamstring) also competed hard in the rehab group yesterday and should be right to play.
