Andrew Dodt has played himself into the record books

QUEENSLANDER Andrew Dodt played himself into the European Tour record books in amazing style in Sweden.

Dodt became the first man to score two holes-in-one during the same round after he aced the 11th and 16th holes during the second round of the Nordea Masters in Stockholm.

A winner of one event on Tour, the 2010 Avantha Masters in India, Dodt, whose best finish this year is a share of 17th at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship in January, won a case of champagne for his effort.

He was tied for 18th ahead of the final round overnight, 11 shots behind the leader, Finland's Mikko Ilonen.
