Get your frisbees at Ballina visitor centre
FOLLOWING the opening of Ballina's Disc Golf Park, the Ballina Visitor Information Centre is now selling and hiring souvenir frisbees.
The disc golf frisbees are custom-stamped with destination branding, DISCover Ballina. The first run is even expected to become something of a collector's item.
Council's visitor services team leader Alicia Wallace said "visitors and locals are seeking frisbees for a game of disc golf at the newly installed Disc Golf Park at Bicentennial Gardens".
The Innova Aviar model has been selected and is a putt-and-approach frisbee considered a must for any competitor's kit and the everyday disc golfer.
The Disc Golf Park on Tamarind Dr is free to enter and open dawn to dusk every day.
Scorecards with a course map are available from discoverballina.com or when hiring frisbees from the visitor centre.
The cost to hire discs is $10 for up to four discs over a 48-hour period. A deposit is required at the time of hiring.
