From Players Championship winner to cattle class
GOLF: A total of 66 PGA Tour golfers have earned more than $US1 million over the course of the 2017 season so far, but that doesn't mean that some players aren't trying to save money when possible.
On Sunday at TPC Sawgrass, 21-year-old South Korean Si Woo Kim cruised to a victory at The Players Championship with a flawless bogey-free round to earn $US1.89 million ($2.5 million). It was Kim's second career PGA Tour victory.
On Monday, Kim was spotted flying coach on a Delta flight to Atlanta.
It was also revealed that Kim won the Players (and then crammed himself into a tiny aeroplane seat) with a bad back.
He withdrew from this weekend's AT&T Byron Nelson in Dallas as a precautionary measure after his back needed treatment before his final round on Sunday.
