Four wheel drive and truck collide at Ballina

A WOMAN was lucky to escape serious injury when four-wheel drive collided with a truck at Ballina this morning.

Police, paramedics and NSW Fire and Rescue were called to Southern Cross Drive at 9.32 am.

When they arrived they found the woman's white four-wheel drive resting on its side in the middle of a roundabout.

Paramedics assessed the woman, who was in her 40's, at the scene but she didn't require hospitalization.

A tow truck removed the woman's four-wheel drive from the roundabout.
