Former NRL player turns himself in after Cooly brawl

A FORMER NRL player turned Finks Motorcycle Gang member was charged with affray after a bikie brawl at Cooly Rocks On.

Anthony Watts, 26, was charged after he turned himself into Coolangatta Police Station yesterday afternoon.

In a statement Queensland police said officers were called to Marine Parade Coolangatta following reports of a large brawl about 4.30pm.

Watts, who is from Murwillumbah, is due to appear in the Coolangatta Magistrate's Court on June 24.

Police said investigations in relation to the incident are continuing.
