Laura 'Never Says Never' to giving up on Bieber dream

FOR teenager Laura Harrigan, Justin Bieber is more than a pop star.

He is her inspiration; the reason why she lives her life by the motto "never say never".

For the past four years, Ms Harrigan has dedicated her spare time to achieving her goal of meeting the Canadian-born super star.

She has written hundreds of letters, contacted media outlets around the world and uploaded 366 videos to YouTube detailing why she should meet her idol.

This year, however, she believes is her year to achieve her goal with Justin Bieber announcing he will tour Australian later in the year.

Tour dates are expected to be announced today.

In 2009, Ms Harrigan first contracted "Bieber fever" after seeing his film clip for One Time.

"He has changed my life," she said.

"I used to give up on things quite quickly.

"But he has shown me how to stick things out and 'never say never'.

"If I have a dream, I don't give easily and just make it happen."

Ms Harrigan listens to a Justin Bieber song everyday. However, it is not just his music that appeals to the 18-year-old.

"He is humble and doesn't forget where he comes from," she said.

For the uninitiated, Never Say Never is also the name of a Bieber song and his tour documentary.
