IT'S crunch time on The Block, and every second counts.

So Ronnie and George were especially fired up this week after experiencing hours of delays after having their power switched off by the foremen over issues with their work.

During Tuesday night's episode, Georgia burst into tears and launched into an expletive-filled rant after Keith and Dan pointed out that some of her and Ronnie's electrical work was "illegal" - including loose and live wires as well as an exposed electrical box - and that they'd have to stop working on their house until an electrician came to fix it.

"I'm just f***ing p***ed off that this has come to this point," she said.

"I'm just really highly f***ing stressed, that's where I'm at right now. I don't want to f***ing be on camera right now, for f***'s sake."

Meanwhile, Jason and Sarah had a fierce run-in with their tradies after refusing to pay them for their work, which resulted in them being threatened with legal action.

"None of the work was done properly and he wants to charge me $8000. I don't think so," Sarah explained angrily.

It didn't go down well with host Scott Cam, who slammed the controversial couple for withholding payment.

"I've got a problem. Number one, we pay our bills on The Block. We have to - it's our reputation," an angry Cam will tell Jason and Sarah in a yet-to-be-aired episode.

"This guy has a family. He's owed 8000 bucks and you've told him you're not paying any of it."
