1. The Rat Pack from Vegas
Direct from Las Vegas and following a sold out tour of the US and the UK, The Rat Pack is in Ballina this weekend.
Frank Sinatra (Robbie Howard ), Dean Martin (Johnny Edwards) and Sammy Davis Jr (Nicholas Brooks) are back in town and will be lighting up stages across the country as they bring back the grand old days of those classic crooner hits that we all know and love.
At the Ballina RSL Club tomorrow Thursday from 8pm. $40.
2. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them midnight screening
This new film is based on J.K. Rowling's original story about Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), the author of a Hogwarts textbook that describes various beasts and dragons.
The movie follows Newt's adventures in New York's secret community of witches and wizards 70 years before Harry Potter first arrived at Hogwarts.
At Ballina Fair Cinemas at midnight tomorrow Thursday (get there tonight after 11pm) for a 00.01am start. Harry potter dressups encouraged.
3. Dan Clark Band
DAN Clark -on lead vocals, Sam Shine on lead guitar, Nick Fitzpatrick on bass guitar and Ben Cox -on drums offer the best cover bands shows in the Northern Rivers.
The Dan Clark band have travelled up and down the east coast performing together for four years. They love putting a unique twist on all your favourite songs and throw in some of their catchy originals to create one of the most dynamic shows in the area.

4. Ben Purnell
BEN Purnell grew up a keen fisherman, spear fisherman, martial artist, and surfer. With an interest in singing his favourite songs and writing some of his own, Ben started learning guitar at the age of 12.
Purnell released his first EP, From The Sun, in 2015.
From The Sun consists of five songs developed over the past years, and is a great representation of the varied styles and influences from which the songs were created.
A mixture of genres appear in Ben Purnell's music, with rock, pop, and alternative themes throughout.
At the Wharf Bar and Restaurant in Balina this Saturday from 7.30pm.
LOCAL musician Cass, who also fronts local five-piece band DC5, offers solo, acoustic cover performances of a wide range of popular songs appealing to audiences of all ages.
From nostalgic ballads (Halleluigha, Babylon), to classic Australian and overseas pop rock (Dumb tThings, Ship of Fools), to modern hits (Sing, I can't Feel my Face), Cass pleases everyone with his own unique touch on familiar tunes.
