Father and daughter repeatedly punched in road-rage attack

A FATHER has escaped serious injury after being knocked unconscious in a road-rage attack in front of his daughter on the Gold Coast yesterday.

Shocking video of the incident shows Nathan Harris stepping out of his car in Trickett St, Surfers Paradise, when a man rushes forward and punches him.

His daughter steps in to defend him but is also repeatedly punched in the head.

The woman can be heard screaming as her father lies unconscious and the attacker flees the scene.

"Makes me so f---ing angry," she said in a Facebook post last night.

"Hope your (sic) better soon daddy."

Paramedics were able to stabilise Mr Harris, who regained consciousness, before taking him to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are looking for the alleged attacker, who fled in a white Mitsubishi Lancer.
