Fatal crash near Tieri claims life of 44-year-old woman

A WOMAN has died in a traffic crash near Tieri on Monday afternoon.

At around 2pm a vehicle was travelling along Crinum Road, around 20km west of Tieri, when it rolled a number of times.

A 44-year-old woman died at the scene.

An 18-year-old woman was taken to Emerald Hospital with minor injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

This is the second fatal crash on Central Highlands' roads this week.

A 20-year-old Buckland man was killed in a single vehicle fatal traffic crash on the Dawson Highway just before 6pm Saturday.
