Fantastic Fox wins silver
AUSTRALIAN Jessica Fox has built the perfect run to win the silver medal in the women's K1 at the London Olympics.
Qualifying eighth fastest for the final, Fox, third out, posted the fastest time before eventual winner, France's Emilie Fer, stole top spot from the Australian.
However, Fox, in a time of 1:06.51, was good enough to hold off a high calibre field chasing medal glory.
Spain's Maialen Chourraut won the bronze medal.
