Whoops ... crash go cars at Corvette museum

THOUSANDS of dollars of motoring royalty has gone down the gurgler at a museum in the United States.

A sinkhole opened up inside the National Corvette Museum in Kentucky and collectable cars dropped into to an untidy pile.

The museum said a total of eight cars were damaged when a sinkhole opened up.

Six of the cars were owned by the museum and two, a 1993 ZR-1 Spyder and a 2009 ZR1 Blue Devil, were on loan from General Motors.
