Elderly driver's slip-up destroys garage

A CAR crashed through a fence and into a garage at a property in North Ipswich on Monday after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

An 84-year-old female driver had a medical condition and lost control in Waterworks Rd at noon.

She went through a garage next door to the Islamic Society of Ipswich.

The woman was taken to Ipswich Hospital by ambulance with minor cuts and bruises.
