THEY'VE endured months of secrecy under intense public scrutiny, but with just hours to go until the finale, The Bachelor's final two contestants may have just given away the winner.

Laura, who is the favourite to take Matty J's final rose in tonight's episode, appeared to accidentally slip-up during an interview with NovaFM's Fitzy and Wippa and her rival Elise.

The curious moment happened while the accessories designer was discussing her love for the Bachelor - using present tense.

"You know when you meet someone who ticks the boxes and who you have a real connection with. You can't fake that and when it happens, it happens," said Laura.

Fanning the flames further, Elise talked about herself and Matty using only the past tense.

"Yeah, I definitely knew that I was in love, you just kind of have to sit on it in this scenario and go, 'am I getting caught up in it all?'" she told the radio hosts.

WAS, people. WAS.

It comes after Matty J admitted he had "crossed paths" with Laura in Bondi prior to their meeting on the show.

"We crossed paths. She said something to my friend at the sauna at Icebergs," he told OK! Magazine .

Last month, it was reported in NW that the pair had been a little "too familiar" in the Bachelor mansion.

According to the magazine, an insider told them: "No-one was buying that Laura and Matty met for the first time at the mansion. They were all too familiar from night one."
