Dalwood man killed in crash

A DALWOOD man is dead after he was killed in a single vehicle crash at Rous Mill overnight.

Richmond Local Area Command Inspector Wayne Crotty said emergency services were called to the scene just after 8.30pm.

Insp Crotty said when emergency services arrived they found a blue Subaru Impreza on its roof and the 25-year-old driver, who was the only person in the car, trapped.

"The Subaru has travelled along the grass and impacted with several cement posts, a wire fence and a timber railing," he said.

"The vehicle has rolled and come to rest on its roof."

Insp Crotty said the Subaru sustained extensive damage in the crash.

"It appears that speed may have been a factor in the incident."

Police, paramedics, NSW Fire and Rescue, SES and NSW RFS responded to the incident.

A report on the crash will be prepared for the coroner.
