Criminal gold mine uncovered during drug bust

A MAJOR drug supply network has been stripped of hundreds of thousands of dollars after raids of Sydney storage shed uncovered a criminal gold mine.

Cocaine, meth and precursors made up the massive haul which weighed in at more than 140kg.

Four men, aged 29, 40, 41 and 66 are all behind bars accused of participating in a criminal group.

The raids were carried out by detectives from Strike Force Glenell which was set up last year to investigate the importation of commercial quantities of drugs into NSW.
