Crash on Pacific Highway near Ballina, three people hurt

UPDATE, 2.50pm: POLICE have said the car crash on the Pacific Hwy earlier today has now been cleared.

Richmond Police District Acting Inspector Russell Ewing said fortunately no-one involved in the two vehicle crash at Pimlico appeared to have been seriously injured.

"One car has been towed from the scene and the north-bound lane has now be re-opened," he said.

 

Original story: EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a two-car crash on the Pacific Highway that has left three people injured.

According to Live Traffic NSW, the crash happened at Pimlico, south of Ballina, near Coolgardie Rd just after noon.

Northbound traffic is being affected.

Drivers should allow extra travel time and exercise caution.
