Crash at Knockrow

UPDATE 2pm: THE drivers of a car involved in a crash with a truck outside Knockrow appear to have escaped without injury.

The crash happened out front of the Macadamia Castle shortly after noon.

The car appears to have been hit on its side. However, the driver and adult passenger both appeared to have escaped unhurt.

It is unclear whether there were also children in the car, but child seats were seen being removed from the car and transferred to another vehicle.

AN accident between a truck and a car has occurred on the Pacific Highway at Knockrow.

Emergency services are on their way to the scene.

The crash comes as emergency services on the Clarence continue work to clear the highway at Ulmurra, where there was a fatal crash involving a car and a truck this morning.
