HALFBACK Robert Lui has played a total of just three games for the Cowboys, two of them this season, but his club was delighted to re-sign him for an extra year yesterday.

The No.7 jersey has been a cursed one for the North Queensland club this year, with Lui, Ray Thompson and Michael Morgan all breaking down with injuries in that position.

Lui will play his second straight game as playmaker against the Tigers at Leichhardt Oval tonight, with Cowboys football manager Peter Parr pleased to have him next season.

"We are going to see the best of Rob Lui over the remainder of this year and again next season," Parr said.
