AUSTRALIAN musician Benn Gunn hasn't performed at too many agricultural shows yet but he said he's definitely looking forward to taking the stage at the Grafton Show next month.

Benn is one of the rising stars of the Australian Country Music scene and has been hard at work performing various gigs around Australia including appear- ances at the Tamworth Country Music Festival and the Gympie Muster.

Last year he released his debut album Keep on Drivin'.

Benn will give a three-hour perform- ance at the Grafton Show this year on the Friday night. The self-confessed country lad said he loved gigs like this.

"I've just started doing these kinds of shows. I had my first experience playing on the back of a truck playing at a rodeo near Newcastle and that was great," Benn said.

"It just took me back to the experi- ences I had as a kid at community fairs and the environment they create, which is really good."

Benn said he'd be performing with a four-piece band on the night and was keen to share his music with the town.
