Men charged over Corindi drug lab
FOUR men have been arrested over a police raid on a Corindi property, which uncovered a large amphetamine lab last week.
Police remained tight-lipped about the operation last night, saying investigations are continuing.
Officers involved in the case could confirm, however, that charges have been laid.
The clandestine drug laboratory was found by a joint police drug operation, which raided a Pacific Highway property last Thursday night.
Specialist drug-squad police, including a chemical operations team, have worked at the scene.
NSW Fire Brigade Hazmat crews also helped to dismantle the highly volatile chemical drug lab.
Detectives confirmed three Central Coast men and a Coffs Harbour local have been arrested and charged.
A 31-year-old man has been refused bail to appear in the Gosford Local Court on two counts of manufacture and supply a large commercial quantity of a prohibited drug.
A 52-year-old man from Grey's Point has also been charged on drug manufacture and supply charges along with a 25-year-old East Gosford man.
A 46-year-old local man is charged with possession of a prohibited drug and firearm offences.
He is due to appear in Coffs Harbour Local Court on September 27.
Police say detectives have finished their operation at the Corindi property but cannot release full details until a number of other leads are investigated.
