Coach Cheika says Kepu has more to come

NEW South Wales prop Sekope Kepu will celebrate his 50th game for the Wallabies against France this weekend, but new coach Michael Cheika says the 28-year-old has only just scratched the surface of his potential.

"He's been a great player for Australian rugby over a long period of time - the experience he now brings to this team in invaluable," Cheika (pictured) said.

"But he still has plenty of improvement in his game and I'm confident his best years of rugby are still ahead of him."

Cheika has made just one change to the team that beat Wales 33-28 in Cardiff last weekend, bringing lock James Horwill back for his 58th Test to replace second-rower Sam Carter.

Australia swept France 3-0 at home in June, but Cheika said he expected a much tougher proposition on French soil.

"We're under no illusion about the intensity they will bring to this game," he said.
