Child porn charges for Grafton man

A GRAFTON man has been arrested by the Australian Federal Police (AFP) as part of a international child abuse operation.

The AFP today released the results of their three-year sting on child abuse and pornography operations across the globe.

The 37-year-old Grafton man was arrested in October last year.

He was charged with two counts of possession of child pornography and two counts of using a carriageway to access pornography.

He was one of 31 Australians arrested by the AFP.

He will appear in Grafton Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Four Australian children were removed from harmful situations throughout the operation.

The AFP worked alongside law enforcement agencies in the U.S, Canada and across Europe to trace members of an online child abuse forum.
