Charges expected over yacht fire

A MAN accused of torching a luxury yacht on Sydney Harbour was expected to be charged on Wednesday night.

A 9-metre yacht burned to the water line where it was moored at the Kurraby Point Warf earlier in the morning.

Police chased a man from the scene and arrested him nearby.

He was taken to a north Sydney police station where he was still being questioned at the time of going to press.
