WALLABIES coach Robbie Deans has lauded the big-match credentials of Israel Folau, giving the strongest indication yet the league and AFL convert will be wearing a Wallabies jumper on Saturday night.

Deans arrived in Brisbane late Sunday as the Wallabies bunker down in camp in Brisbane before the opening Test against the British and Irish Lions at Suncorp Stadium.

The final 22 will be unveiled on Thursday and Deans admitted he has some difficult decisions this week as he finalises his combinations to take on a touring outfit growing in confidence with every hit-out. But it seems whether to include Folau won't be the issue keeping him up at night.

Deans said the Waratahs fullback, who will likely used on the wing against the Lions, was a picture of calmness and his experience in pressure-filled events like State of Origin had put him in good stead.

His limited experience in rugby remains a concern in some quarters but Deans knows he has a potential match-winner under his nose. A Wallaby jumper wouldn't be a bad incentive to keep him in the code, either.
