Call for witnesses to Lennox Head school break-in
POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a break-in at Lennox Head primary school over the weekend.
Richmond Local Area Command Inspector Nicole Bruce said the break-in, which was reported at 1pm yesterday, occurred between 8pm on Friday and 8am yesterday.
Insp Bruce said unknown offenders damaged four aluminium seats, smashed a wooden table and chair and set off a fire extinguisher at the school on Byron St.
A ground floor door and an external wall of the school were graffitied with black and blue tags of "Bams" and "Sala".
Insp Bruce said no property was reported to have been stolen from the school.
