Bunnings DIY Mother's Day family night

MAKE a handmade gift for Mother's Day at Bunnings Ballina, Byron Bay and Lismore's annual Mother's Day Family Night.

Northern Rivers families are invited to celebrate and say a special thanks to local mums by joining an action packed night of entertainment in the lead up to Mother's Day, including hands-on D.I.Y. gift making workshops where kids can get crafty and make mum a personalised gift, Bunnings Warehouse Area Manager, John Newell said.

"There's nothing that mothers like more than a lovingly crafted gift on Mother's Day, so getting kids involved in making a special handmade gift has become somewhat of a tradition at Bunnings," Mr Newell said.

"To see the look on the children's faces and their sense of pride when they complete their special project is priceless."

The Mother's Day Family Night will run from 6pm - 8pm and is a great opportunity for families to say thank you to mum, and will also include a range of Mother's Day activities for the whole family to enjoy together.

"Also, we have noticed a growing number of kids who are eager to also make something for their grandmother, as well as their mum, so it really has become a family celebration," Mr Newell said.

There will also be a free gift wrapping station on the night so kids can make something for mum as well as have the opportunity to gift wrap a present if they have purchased one in-store.

Light refreshments will be provided for everyone.

Bookings are recommended, so please contact your local Bunnings to reserve your place.
