Brumby’s ride into healthy food era with new Evolution store

GRACEMERE and Yeppoon could soon both have their own Brumby's stores.

Brumby's Bakery is starting a new era of baking and is looking to recruit franchisees to open new-look Brumby's Evolution stores across the country.

The baking franchise has had a growing demand for health, clean eating alternatives and is about to enter what they are calling a new era of baking.

Brumby's managing director Kevin Waite is looking for franchisees from all walks of life, but who all have a passion for good food.

"Applicants don't require any previous baking experience or retail experience as we offer intensive courses including baking theory, baking practise and retail operations at our world class training academy," Mr Waite said.

"We are looking for enthusiastic self-starters who have a passion for good food and want to be their own boss. Assistance with set up costs is available to suitable applicants."

The new Brumby's stores will focus on the growing "foodie" and health conscious consumer market.

"With a wide range of new products including our Get Active range of breads, loaves that contain swiss seed, soy, chai seeds, quinoa and other wholesome grains, we are well placed to adapt to a market expecting innovation from their local bakery," Mr Waite said.
