Bruised Melissa George in hospital
AUSTRALIAN actress Melissa George has been attacked, allegedly by her long-term partner Jean-David Blanc, leaving her in hospital with bruises on her face.
French news website M6info is reporting that Ms George was "assaulted by her companion”, adding that "police were called last night to intervene in the centre of Paris”.
"In shock, Melissa George had a swelling of the face and complained of pain, nausea and dizziness.” The former Home and Away star and the French businessman have two young children.
The former Home and Away star met the French businessman at a BAFTAs party in 2011 and the pair became an item in 2012.
She and the 38-year-old have two children, Raphaël, 2, and Solal, 10 months.
