Bowls juniors shine in tournament at Ballina RSL bowlo

JUNIORS from Sawtell to Tweed Heads, Kempsey to Tamworth, descended on Ballina RSL for what was the district's biggest tournament for young up-and-comers.

The top section of singles was won by South Lismore's Indi Conlan who downed Kobe Barton (Jindalee, Brisbane) 17-8 in the Gold final.

Other finals: Silver - Sean Gillis (Jindalee) d Adam King (Gunnedah) 17-14; Bronze - Brittany Camp (Glen Innes) d Haylee Ross (Glen Innes) 17-16.

Indi has been selected as a skip in the Country Juniors to play City at Cabramatta on November 21-22.
