Body found at Mullawarra

A BODY of a 25-year-old woman has been recovered by emergency services this afternoon at south Mullawarra beach.

Paramedics were called to the scene at 1.45pm following initial reports of a drowning.

Coffs-Clarence police were also on scene shortly after.

Police said the death appeared to be a drowning and was not being treated as suspicious.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.

The death comes five days after the body of a man was discovered at sea off the coast of Bundagen.
