Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho seeing red after referee decision

CHELSEA boss Jose Mourinho says there is a campaign against his team after it was denied what he believed was a penalty in the 1-1 draw at Southampton.

Cesc Fabregas appeared to be brought down by Matt Targett in the box but, instead, referee Anthony Taylor booked the Spaniard for diving, sparking an outburst from his manager.

"The media, commentators, other managers are all doing it (putting pressure on referees)," Mourinho (pictured) told BBC Sport.

The Blues' dropped points, but so too did rival Manchester City, which threw away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with struggling Burnley, and Manchester United, which drew 0-0 at White Hart Lane with Spurs.

Arsenal closed the gap with a 2-1 win at West Ham, Stoke beat West Brom 2-0 and Hull lost at home to bottom side Leicester 1-0. Newcastle beat Everton 3-2, while Aston Villa and Sunderland and QPR and Crystal Palace drew 0-0.
